We are seeking a talented and motivated Field Surveyor to fill a pivotal position within our dynamic team. You would be the backbone of site measurement and data collection, conducting precise land surveys that are crucial for planning and executing various construction and engineering projects. Typical projects include land surveys for homeowners, utilities, consultants, and in-house multi-discipline engineering projects. This role demands a unique blend of technical proficiency, analytical acumen, and practical field experience to capture, analyze, and interpret spatial information accurately.

Compensation $18-$25/hour DOE with additional profit sharing bonus opportunities

Responsibilities of a Field Surveyor will include some or all of the following:
-
Conduct land surveys for new developments, construction projects, restoration projects, and Fish and Wildlife management.

Use Trimble, GPS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, LiDar, photogrammetry data evaluation software, and other surveying instruments such as Total Stations and Robots to collect and analyze needed data

Prepare detailed survey cutsheets and maps from data collected

Travel to various survey locations and sites as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

A minimum of 3 years of Field Survey Experience

Be proficient in survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.

Have strong analytical and mathematical skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Physical stamina for conducting fieldwork

Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshot equipment issues

Familiarity with Trimble equipment

A Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

The ability to work long hours in varying environmental conditions

Knowledge of surveying principles and methods
-
The ability to interpret plans and specifications
