The Golda Harris Nature Preserve is a forested parcel of land adjacent to the Boise River. The area consists of dense vegetation and was previously difficult to access. 

River Structures assisted the City of Boise with the design of a new access bridge across the Walling Ditch as well as a viewing platform in the Nature Preserve. The new bridge provides pedestrian and maintenance access to nature paths and the viewing platform which is situated along the edge of a natural pond and wetland.
