River Structures was recently awarded a new contract with Idaho Power to design a replacement for a portion of their existing 42-inch wood stave pipeline in Sand Springs Flume. The existing wood stave pipe has been deteriorating and reached the end of its useful life. 

Over the coming months, River Structures will be completing the design drawings for the new steel and HDPE pipeline that follows a similar alignment as the existing pipeline. Also included within this design, is a realignment of Thousand Springs Grade to improve visibility and driver safety in the area in which the road crosses the pipeline alignment.
